I see that Camden, NJ is going to need to close their libraries until the economy improves. Instead of accepting that fact, the Library Board is preparing to sell, give away, or destroy the books of the library system. This threat to eliminate all of the books in the library system is such an obvious ploy to garner public opinion I would be surprised if anyone falls for it. Do they really think that people are stupid enough to believe that books sitting on a shelf in a closed library have a greater tendency to ignite than books sitting on a shelf in an open library? These are the same people who threatened to take their ball and go home when they couldn't win on the playground.
